3 HILARIOUS INSTAGRAM ACCOUNTS YOU SHOULD BE FOLLOWING

7.23.2014

1. Airportstyles

You guessed it, this Instagram showcases the fashion elite of airports across the world. The account is run by Canadian DJ duo Chromeo, they snap the chicest of looks while flying across the globe to their next gig. The comments are almost as funny as the photos. Pink is back, spread the news bitches.

2. KanyeDoingThings

Pictures of Kanye West doing things. That's it.

3. FlyArtProductions

If you have a tumblr account, you've most likely reblogged a FlyArt masterpiece. When you add equal parts of rap to art, out comes a FlyArt. Rap lyrics (verses?) are posted onto classic art pieces that seem like they were created just for the song's music video. It's kind of fucking genius.

P.S. I haven't re-installed Photoshop on my laptop. Can't you tell by the shitty graphics?

REVIEW: YOUNIQUE MOONSTRUCK 3D FIBERS MASCARA + DEMO VIDEO

6.11.2014

I don't think there is one person in this universe that is NOT on a constant hunt for the holy grail mascara. If you're a makeup snob like me, you're looking for many holy grail mascaras. You hoard them. You never give up. Well, I found a product that may change all of that. Don't run and throw out your 17 tubes of mascara ranging from Covergirl to Givenchy, read through this review and decide if it's for you (probably will be.)

REVIEW: REDKEN BLONDE IDOL CUSTOM-TONE CONDITIONER (BEFORE + AFTER)

6.09.2014

All my fake blondes out there know just how hard it is to keep that pain in the ass brass away. You try to do everything you can, but even then it just isn't enough and you find yourself standing in the bathroom rolling your eyes as you impatiently rub toner into your hair. If you're not busting the doors down at the salon with $60 in your hand, that is. I have a cabinet full of purple and blue tone products that are supposed to fight brass and tone your hair, which most of them are a flop. That doesn't stop me, though. I don't give up hope!

REVIEW: GLAMGLOW THIRSTYMUD

6.01.2014

If you're a beauty snob and take a trip to Sephora 4 times a week, surely you've seen the GLAMGLOW line. If you're active on social media and keep up with the latest YouTube beauty gurus, surely you've heard about it. First, let's learn a little bit about GLAMGLOW. Sephora's website will introduce us:

Known for fast-acting and innovative mud treatments, their patent-pending formulas combine real pieces of leaf with high-end technology to deliver instant, visible results."

MY SUMMER FRAGRANCES

5.06.2014

One of the (only) things I love about summer is being able to wear some of my favorite perfumes! It's an exciting moment when I'm able to move my summer fragrances from the bathroom cabinet hideout to my vanity. I usually have close to a million bottles, but this year I sorted through them in attempt to keep my vanity neat. I've narrowed it town to three of my favorites that i'll be wearing this summer. I can't promise I won't be adding anymore as the summer goes on! Shh!

FRESH'S CITRON DE VIGNE

4.22.2014

I am completely lusting over Fresh's Citron de Vigne candle. I'm a huge fan of the fragrance and was pleasantly surprised when I came across the candle on their website! Citron de Vigne is my go-to fragrance in the summer. The scent is so nostalgic to me and takes me back to Las Vegas where I first discovered it.

Fresh describes Citron de Vigne as, A sparkling blend of citrus notes and a pinot noir accord that fills the room with the essence of champagne.

If you're a Citron de Vigne fan or you're interested in smelling it, you can purchase the candle here. You can purchase the fragrance here.

WANNABE BIRKENSTOCKS - $$$?

3.27.2014

As I was crying into my coffee while window shopping on Net-A-Porter, I noticed this pair of $795 Givenchy floral sandal/Birkenstock...knock-offs? Wow, that is pretty pricey considering they're nearly a copy of the original style that costs a fraction of the price.

In case you are staring at your screen in confusion wondering why we're talking about your mother's favorite birth control sandal or why you'd want to wear Kim Kardashian's sofa on your feet. Well, these Birkenstock style sandals are it this season. Who would've guessed? You either love them or you hate them, there is not too much of an in between. They are, however, the most comfortable shoes your feet will ever be graced with. If you're a fan, I suggest going to get the real thing. Comfy and will last you forever.

A lot of brands, such as Zara, and are replicating the Birk style for around $25-$99. That is great if you're hopping on the trend for just this season, but should you really drop almost a grand for a copy? The original Birkenstocks run you $70-$120 depending on the style and finish of the sandal (there are so many, you'll never be able to choose!) Yep, that is about SIX times less than the Givenchy copy. Birkenstock has even gone as far as posting a counterfeit reference guide (view here) front and center on their website. You go, Birkenstock. Ain't nobody stealing your thunder!

What do you all think? Would you drop that kind of money on a copy of a cheaper shoe? If so, I'd love to hear why!

DESIGNER CRUSH: MEGAN FEUILLE | PALOMA INTERIOR DESIGN

3.14.2014

There is nothing more exciting than discovering a designer with lustful portfolios where it seems like they just get you, you know? A design soul mate, if you will. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, you develop a designer crush! I decided to start a new series where I share my crushes, and maybe you'll start crushing, too!
