 Here is the schedule for Haute Couture week in Paris. I cannot wait to see every designers collection. Most of all Jean Paul Gaultier, Elie Saab and Giambattista Valli. It is truly going to be a week of beauty! Which designer's collection are you most excited to see?

It's Sale Season!

Ladies and Gentlemen! It's the best time of the year. (Next to cyber Monday...I don't mess with black Friday. Nowhere near brave enough, yet!) Yes, it's MID YEAR SALE TIME! It's that time of the year where all stores are in that awkward stage of trying to transition from spring/summer clothes to fall/winter clothes. Not so awkward for us, because we get to take advantage of the awesome savings.

 

As soon as I got the word about the sales, I was on the hunt. My first stop was ASOS, where they're holding their "Fly Fourth" Fourth of July sale with items up to 50% off! What?! That's right. The prices are insane, I couldn't resist! I placed two separate orders and I'm considering placing more before it ends, I have to take advantage!

 

The next place I ran to was Zara. This was huge. I didn't know about this sale until hours after it started...bad on my part. Sort of. It's not very often Zara has sales, so I had to jump on this. For catching on to the sale so late, there were still a bunch of awesome pieces for even more awesome prices. I didn't pick up as much, mostly because a lot of pieces I wanted my size was sold out. What are the chances?! Oh well, I managed to pick up a gorgeous dress for only about $40! Now I'm cyber stalking the shoes and having thoughts about those...

 

The last store I hear is having sales is J.Crew. Another big deal. I personally have never shopped a J.Crew, but this is my excuse to now. With great savings of 25% off with the code LOVEJCREW and 30% off when you open a J.Crew card. That's pretty great for a frugal (sort of) little me. I will definitely be taking advantage and picking up some of their PLAY Comme des Garçons tees.

Target Haul

Hey guys! Just thought I'd share a quick haul of things I picked up today at Target. Summer is officially here and I was left without shorts. I picked up a pair of black, white, purple, and some awesome printed ones. Also, while I was going through my favorite place - the sale section, I found a beautiful watercolor floral print blazer I had been looking at for a while! Sooo excited! New Obsession 001.

 

 Today while walking through Dillard's coming back from shopping around Sephora, I decided to stop in the more contemporary section of the store. It was on my way out, so why not?! I came across this Kenneth Cole Clarisa Mixed Media Vest and I died right on the spot. I haven't found  piece I instantly fall in love with in a while, so it was very exciting! It's a very Helmut Lang type piece: simple, minimalistic, and black and white...my favorite! I've started falling in love with Kenneth Cole, every piece I've found is completely my style. I want it all!!

However, with the price tag reading $110, I'm not sure I want to invest in it yet.

 

 It even comes in black!

What do you guys think? Yes I should grab it while I can, or pass? Let me know! I need some opinions since my decision making skills are a little dusty from not shopping in a while! :P

Wow, I wasn't expecting that. I know I spent quite a lot on my cosmetics, but I wasn't thinking that much!

I do think you should invest in good makeup (especially foundation!) and skincare since it is on your face and it's extremely sensitive.

A Must Watch for New Bloggers!

 

Hey guys! I came across this video before I officially started my blog and it has helped SO MUCH! Etsy Finds!

I often find myself searching for websites to visit when I'm bored and need more inspiration, and I always end up at one - Etsy. Etsy is an awesome website where people can list their handmade or vintage items for sale. It's that kind of place where you can get lost for hours. While going through all the listings, you really find some hidden treasures. The past few days I've been going through the site, and I'd like to share the best items I've found!

I came across this woman while searching for statement necklaces on Etsy one night. Out of all the listings on the page, my eyes immediately went to one of her pieces. Oh my God, I need that...It took everything I had not to purchase everything in her shop. Her pieces are incredible. They're a bit more pricey than your common statement costume jewelry since she uses the best materials for her pieces, but they look well worth it. Check out her shop here.

I found this adorable kawaii shop while searching for iPhone 5 cases when I first purchased my phone. This seller makes phone cases and little carry all bags for all your items with super cute monster faces on them. Just look at them. Need I say any more about them? Check out her shop here.

If you're into the transparent clutch trend, but not ready to spend the $50-2,000 price tag like me - this is for you. This shop sells all things transparent. From full size clutches with cross body chains, to small card and change holders. They vary in colors, although most are neutrals and neons but hey, there's no problem with that! With a more affordable price tag ranging from $4.99 to $28.90, these are a must have! Check out her shop here.

While on my hunt for a bubble necklace (A real bubble necklace) I came across this beauty. This necklace is truly a piece of art! The delicate construction of this necklace really does make it look like little bubbles are sitting on your chest. Amazing! Check out this item here.

I just came across this incredible OWN documentary about the fashion powerhouse Tom Ford on YouTube. Watching this documentary completely inspired me and made me fall in love with Tom all over again. If you've made it through every fashion documentary and film on Netflix, this should be your next watch!

Shoes For The Soul

Yesterday I stopped by one of my favorite stores DSW to look around for a new mini wallet and a pair of fabulous shoes for a party this weekend. Secretly I was planning. There had a pair of boots I had been eyeing for literally months in the sale section...

I ran immediately to the sale section to look for my boots I had wanted terrible, looking EVERYWHERE and they were not there. A bit disappointed I walked to the pumps and heels section of the sales floor and was immediately drawn to a pair of white patent Jessica Simpson pumps. Jessica Simpson actually makes decent shoes! What? She does! (P'trique c'est chic!) I had been looking for a pair of white pointed toe pumps and I had found the perfect pair! Heel wasn't too high, wasn't too low. Plus, they were super comfortable!

Aren't they so crisp and classic? Love!

After trying on many other pumps and sandals I decided to go back and check the sale section, just in case...and man am I glad I did! As soon as I walked up, right in front of my face were my boots! OMG! "There is no way they were there before! Nope! I couldn't have missed them! Someone placed them there for me!"

I was dropped into a glittery shoe Michael Antonio heaven and I was loving it! They're flashy and over the top, but that is just what I like! I had tried them on a few times before and got some giggles and smiles, and I put them back thinking I wouldn't have anything to wear with them or wear them at all. The shoes had stuck in my mind. I decided I needed them! Now they're mine! I can say they aren't the most comfortable shoes, but that never stopped anybody!

DIY Shoe Fun!

This morning was no different from normal routine, watching all the new YouTube videos from the people in subscribed to, when somehow I got the idea to look up "DIY Shoes". Well I can say this took my 90% of my morning, so into it I didn't even realize the time! It is true that time flies when you're having fun. All the glitter-fying and spray painting gave me millions of ideas!

I recently listed two pairs of shoes on Poshmark (see my post on Poshmark here.) yesterday. They are a few years old and have just been sitting in my closet just as long as i've had them. Well not anymore! I was really inspired to try and transform these shoes into something I love. There is nothing wrong with them now except for the color of them not being so pretty. I am going to be doing some DIY work on these shoes and will be sure to show you all when I'm finished!

These GORGEOUS Yves Saint Laurent DIY of their Palais Mohawk totally inspired me and these will be the first I attempt!
